Canandaigua Lake Renovation

I am so excited to share with you our newly renovated and newly decorated lakefront home in Canandaigua, NY.

I have lived here on the property for 5 years, but in the last year have rebuilt the home completely.  The home was originally used as a summer cottage, but when I purchased it I intended for it to be used as my full time residence .  I was inspired by the amazing lakefront views and its 70 feet of frontage.  The land the house sat on gave the property unlimited potential and the charm these small cottages bring to the feel of the lake is what I was drawn to.  I wanted to keep the homes original summer cottage feel while utilizing the location of the lake.  I decided to rebuild using the original footprint so that I was able to maintain the coziness of a cottage while combining the elegance of a new home.

Sean Lewis of Rochester Remodeling and Home Builders had the knowledge and creativity to see the properties potential.  That combined with my design experience and vision we were able to bring my ideas for the property to life.

From the pendant lighting in the kitchen to the fish bowl dining table; each piece that is incorporated was uniquely chosen to introduce classic design while still living on the lake.

The caleidescope of colors Canandaigua Lake brings year round was what I wanted the focal point of the home to be, so everything
that I chose was to not compete with the everchanging scenic view.
